Summary
Kanou Hoki, a game planner and ordinary salaryman, loses everything in one day: his proposed game project is rejected, and he’s fired from his company. As he shares the bad news with online friends, his monitor suddenly flashes the words “Final Chapter”—followed by hordes of monsters flooding the city. The nightmare mirrors the very game concept he once created. Rushing home to save his family, he finds them already slaughtered. Fueled by rage, he confronts the monsters, only to be cut down mercilessly. With guilt consuming him—that his own ideas caused the end of the world—Hoki dies wishing for a second chance. When he opens his eyes again, he finds himself reborn in a strange world, standing in a schoolyard. Above, a giant countdown floats in the sky: 190 days until the end. Granted the mysterious title of “Genesis Ruler” (Creator), Hoki now has the power of a system at his disposal. This time, he will fight not to cause the apocalypse… but to prevent it.
