Whelp, if they were going for “annoy the readers as much as possible”… mission accomplished. (They apparently live in an era where royal decrees mean nothing, btw. Just a thought that’s been stewing for a few chapters now) We, the readers, already understood the uphill battle they went through. It was made clear. We didn’t need that understanding reinforced for the next several chapters. They should’ve started us passed that point so we aren’t just going in circles for chapters.
