Why do dumb people always throw around the low IQ argument of ‘so make one yourself then’?
This story isn’t stretching the main plot with forced, boring filler the first time.
The only really interesting fight was the one with the mount Hua sect master and her former love interest. That story had actual meaning. It was tragic and there was emotional involvement. Yet it got rushed and basically dismissed in an offhand manner.
The other corpse fights had no real gravitas. Ohh look some former big names in the martial world that haven’t been mentioned so far and had no impact on the current flow whatsoever got thrown in so a few side characters have something to do for a few minutes.
How is that not the definition of unnecessary and boring?
I also like the story or I wouldn’t have been here in the first place.
Considering the downvotes and your comment tho it was my mistake in assuming people would have some actual reading comprehension and wouldn’t need everything spelled out to them.
My bad I guess.
All three of you are kind of missing the mark here.
The first commenter is using purely rhetorical criticism, dismissive reactions like “boring” without explanation. That’s not feedback, it’s just venting. Which is fine, but you can’t expect a serious discussion from it.
The “then make one yourself” reply is also weak. You don’t need to be a creator to criticize pacing, writing, or narrative weight. That argument shuts down critique instead of engaging it.
The restaurant analogy is closer to being correct, but it still doesn’t fully apply here. That analogy works when someone gives actual constructive criticism or feedback, not when they start with rhetoric and only explain themselves after being challenged.
The real issue isn’t whether criticism is allowed,it’s how it’s delivered. If you want meaningful discussion, lead with substance. If you start with dismissal, don’t be surprised when people dismiss you back.
Boooooooooring. They are fighting corpses. Who the f cares?
So make your own if you think you could make something better than this that you say is boring punk
