Lmao! The fact the mc have all those antibiotics and modern medicines, but the author insist of making two no named character died is really a poor take on push for the dramatic story.
Mind you it’s acceptable. But it still leave a bitter taste to the story potential.
if you read the words in the chapter, you’d see that mc actually says he doesn’t have the right medicine in his bag. that was one of the reasons why mc reacted the way he did.
that said, even though i know the author made this decision, it would have been cool if his bag was so magical that anything medical would be supplied. kinda like a Mary Poppins bag – Medical edition!!

really that’s it? it was SMALLPOX and it’s just over like that? the smallpox epidemic happened in this one village and no where else? it take 7-17 days for smallpox to show signs of infection but i guess no one traveled through or left the village during that time? it was just totally isolated, how did it even develop there? it must have come from somewhere. also how did this infection only have 2 deaths? smallpox has 30% death rate and again it takes at least 1 week before someone even shows signs of being infected so i very much doubt the number of infected was small, most of the village was probably infected and vaccines do not cure it PREVENTS so if someone is already sick it’s useless so how much of an effect can his cowpox vaccine even have on this? i feel like the author didn’t really think this through.
I think the author did a good job. People forgot that Korea is very mountains and isolated. People rarely interacted with each other beside trade. For the origin, it doesn’t matter and unknown as many plagues throughout history. Probable due to people seeing Ho Chun. I say around only a dozen were affected. He quarantine the village quickly. I know it feel like plot armor but modern medicine is really a miracle. Smallpox is the only disease we have eradicated.

A little googling might tell you why. And antibiotic is not even relevant for the disease
What medicine? You mean the Viagra and the penicillin in his bag will cure the smallpox?
WELL if you READ he said in an earlier chapter that the stuff in the bag changed everyday so it isn’t 100% on what he gets
You never cease to surprise me
