Ughh so disappointed with this backstory chapter. It had me so excited at the beginning thinking he already won, followed by the blank statements he was sharing with the guild leader, and then I thought they were going to kidnap the sister by seducing her. Just to finish it off with a abusive dad (who didn’t see that coming?) who whips his kids that I should have known was happening based on the Gong brothers’ behavior.
Ughh. Waiting one week just to have a filler chapter 😩 this is a torture!!
