Most of his skills actually come from his past lives experience. It was clearly explained.
He learned how to project his presence over his own limit in order to make use of what little presence he naturally had.
He learned to absorb presence as a defense mechanism to avoid dying.
He learned the skills in a multitude of roles through over a thousand minor, varied roles he had.
What he lacked and what he got was some extra presence, but even then, 30 presence is gotten from Miho. Other than that, he only one received a knowledge of a different persons perspective (Freddy) and senses of a different actor (when Miho possessed him).
In fact, Miho consistently talks about how his own skills are the amazing part. This main character actually doesn’t have ANY cheats. Even with the essence he received, he’s still at a level of a potential ‘good actor’. Potential. Meaning a person with presence that is suited for acting, but doesn’t necessarily have skills for it.
You can consider the going back in time as a cheat…but not only is that the only thing he has, but it was what, 15 years?! Some people have 15 years of experience acting when they hit 20 years of age. It’s hardly a ‘cheat’ beyond just having a lucky ‘opportunity’ that anyone could have (and that his rival actually had).

Wow, have we been reading the same story? Dude have no cheats, he only received some aura from the fox (also with caveat on his life spans, remember? That’s not a cheat, that’s a sacrifice) and he has also proven his own ability to absorb aura from acting roles would eventually get him that much aura himself over time, which made him almost inhuman and a threat to those celestial beings. Remember the unaliving attempt but the fox stopped them? So in order for him not to die immediately, they have to limit his NATURAL ability to take in aura. And if I’m not mistaken he also had to give back aura he accumulated/the fox gave him because a human being with that much aura shouldn’t exist. So he has just a bit more aura than a normal actor, which he took in himself because he was struggling to stay alive in his past live. It’s been shown very clearly throughout the story so I wonder what made you think he was cheating?? The title is Genius Actor’s Aura, his aura which he mostly accumulated himself is the main point here because the Gods didn’t give him the aura a normal human being should have to form an “existence” in the world. He already WAS a great actor, it’s why that fox took interest in him, because he was such a great actor but his presence was miniscule when it shouldn’t have been for such an actor. Plus even with that much new aura, the only thing it would do is give him presence. If he’s a wooden actor he wouldn’t be called a genius actor. He’d just have more people watch him fumble. What a joke of a reading comprehension skills. I’m truly baffled.
