I swear I hate the duke even more now , first he asked auntie to take care of his BASTARD!! Now you’re trying to send her nephew into a monster forest . Can’t wait for this duke to DIE!!!

As I was reading I was already dreaming up an AU where she dies on a subjugation and as teens/young adults Lucian (and Edward and Erica) find out what happened and that the Duke told (and Lucian is full ready for a vengeance quest on his dear old dad). And this just makes everything even MORE so. Why is it that even when the Duke seems to think about (but not understand) her words he does insane or thoughtless things?
