I actually think she came off very poorly in this chapter. He expressed gratitude in a way and clearly told her he didn’t appreciate her entering and meddling in his private space without permission. Then she acted like he was being unnecessarily cruel and kept pestering him to know why exactly he didn’t like it—it doesn’t matter why, the reason he gave was perfectly understandable and sufficient. Acting like a victim because she intruded and didn’t like hearing the truth straightforwardly.

Not them casually forgetting too that he kidnapped her too, exploited her for her talents, even admitting they wanted to “torture” her with lack of resources(didn’t work because she was treated that badly before)… Yes she overstepped boundaries, but this man is in the wrong too.
