Nah she hella stupid, this isn’t even streetsmarts so no excuse. Because statistically how likely is a dukes car gonna be halted with a child, the dads a mechanic, with a hall large enough for 16 knights, with enough food for 16 nights.
Yeah cause I can having a naive fml but when the story has to make her just plain stupid to continue the plot it makes no sense, especially since she supposedly ment to be pretty Smart
It’s not like she’s smart. She simply has Korean modern-work knowledge, and knows future events from the novel. That’s why she can easily solve most problems they have, because she practically read the solutions in the novel. But that doesn’t mean she’s smart.
You make the assumption that she was ever that aware of these things to begin with living in a relatively safe area for most of your life does that.

… The author seemed to have dumbed her down in this chapter for speeding the plot which is pretty annoying especially when it’s already shown she got a good head on her shoulder aside from being brainwashed into being a corporate slave both lifetimes. I agree she got a lot of knowledge from modern times that can create solutions in the story, she also got business acumen to develop and produce new working products (even if the first thought that it was for own personal comfort)
However due to her being from modern times and a normal office worker where safety is relatively high it’s pretty logical she’s not exactly prepared for assassination or kidnapping… However even then she seemed suspicious about the situation. That doesn’t make her dumb or stupid at all, her awareness isn’t the greatest though I’ll give her that. But she’s far from stupid.
