Let them cook I guess… it seems they’re still doing some world building and set up before diving into full plot progression
From what I can see
1- MC who is a secret/unawakened genius, had a connection to a girl from another dimension, and met a sorcerer/Artist who took her essence and trapped it in the painting.
2- The Palace Sorcerer and second Prince stole the painting and used it to summon the girl from the other dimension and placed her in the mountains as a trap for the Crown prince, so the second prince can become Emperor.
3- The crown prince fell for the trap and for years has been obsessed with the lady in the mountains, ignoring politics and his duties for her. His blood spilled in her mansion and seems to have activated some type of array.
We then get a reveal that not only the palace sorcerer, but the left minister, shaolin monks? And many powerful people in the martial world are part of the plot to stop the crown prince from ascending the throne, and its all in order to keep their masters bloodline on the throne (probably the ancestor of the second prince from his mothers side maybe 🤷🏿♂️)
But yeah, its been 5 chapters, so I’d like to get back to the MC and follow his plot. I’m not really feeling any of the princes and only the secret martial society is kinda interesting. Coward prince and Honey pot trapped prince don’t vibe with me.
