I think people should less worry about the weapon and more on his Gift. Wouldn’t even matter though because Light’s own LVL9999 will make even Daigo look obsolete and 13-0 cannot be coming any sooner.
It’s not that she can’t decimate Daigo (she actually can), but deploying herself when there’s a possibility of Daigo escaping and relaying the info about her to his group would be had. Also, she would be able to kill him, but not without heavy collateral damage to the town and the surrounding area. In terms of fighting strength, all of Light’s 4 lv 9999 commanders can wreck Daigo. It’s just that Nazuna or Ellie would be more suitable for an easy elimination and without causing damage to the town OR allowing him to escape.

The new chapter’s main highlight is all about Founder Fenrir vs. Daigo and yes, for the first time in everything, Team Abyss may actually see a FIRST formidable (for 14 seconds, at least) opponent of the Surface World since the Snake Weapon thing back from the Forbidden Blacksmith Arc, with Double F gets damaged TWICE: First the front leg, then it’s side body/back. All coming from attack pattern from Daigo the EXP sicko who somehow able to hurt the LVL9000 giant by merely pointing his main blades at it, almost as if he command something. Speaking of Daigo, if I MUST be honest with everybody, there is a LOT of smug snake moment about this hot-headed idiot as all of this consisting on evil monologue that is all about his signature weapon. Yes, he miraculously survives Super Freeze Kamehameha but I suspect that he is heavily depending on the Twin Blades’ other properties more than the blades themselves and if THIS is how he plan to kill Hei then….sorry, that is too pathetic. Aoyuki witnessing the whole thing as she not only scrap the idea of detaining the intruder but trying to kill him instead, only to be confused by the situation and i can’t blame her for it. She is not forte in combating. This chapter then ends with a cliffhanger where the standoff sees Fenrir at Daigo’s mercy and it need to hold off for at least 14 seconds or even 30 seconds before Light and Nazuha arrive as reinforcement. where Here’s an idea: Why not trade CHAOS with Aoyuki and Founder Fenrir to face off that loony toon instead?
If I am Daigo in this position, I’d better off waste no time and slay the LVL9000 monster as soon as possible because, for those who play RPG games, you gotta do the kill in order to level up, not force them . Surely, Fenrir will NEVER going down without a fight until Light and Nazuha arrive as reinforcement. I have my suspicions that the ONLY reason why that hot-head idiot keep gloating about his signature Twin Blades is more about it’s…well, secondary functions. Not sure how THAT will gonna beat Hei but, whatever makes his ego intact I suppose? Speaking of the said twin blades, in the same vein I would consider the main blades are the LEAST of everybody’s worries as people should be focusing on his Master’s Gift that enhance the dread of said weapon.. Then again, with his attitude any wonder Hei beaten him so easily?
Secrets of Daigo’s Weapon and possibly Weakness
Daigo’s blade is actually a Mystical Class Elemental Blades– summoning element that remains invisible to naked eye until Light uses a Special Eyes card for both himself and Nazuha so he, courtesy to Miki who spilled almost everything about Daigo after her defection to Team Abyss.
As powerful as the Elemental Blazes are, though, they are eventually overpowered by Light’s Gugnir as this weapon is a Genesis Class
If you persists on what you said about Light using Gugnir onto every enemy just because LVL9999 made the enemies of the surface world obsolete, then name at least 5 moments where Light actually used the Gungnir onto the “every small fries” since post-Shion Arc but before Intruder Arc then?
Read this VERY closely because you’ve not even heed any attention on what people have said about here: The infamous Gungnir is rarely used throughout the entire series and it ONLY used when the situation is extremely dire for Light and he is not a type of guy who take chances.. While the power of LVL9999 makes al Surface World obsolete, the Masters are anything BUT obsolete (or small fry, you said) especially with the EXP’s sicko’s weapon is actually a MYSTICAL CLASS weapon and it ain’t as simple as you think.
More about Daigo’s Elemental Blades, along with Daigo’s main weakness
The are “invisible blades” you talk about is actually the elementals that are created from Daigo’s two main blades, and are actually MANY of them-with moment. While the weapon itself are indeed powerful, the challenge here is how to use it right and because Daigo is actually LVL7000, he has a hard time to harness it’s actually power and yet, he .
Thanks to his special vision card SSR Truth Eyes, however, Light and Nazuna are able to see the elements and able to counter them much easier. Ironically speaking, Daigo’s heavy dependency onto the elementals from Elemental Blades plays a VERY huge part of his own downfall, as he is actually sucks in close-ranged combat, meaning that he can be EXTREMELY vulnerable to open attacks if he commands all the elements onto 1 target.
If I am you, I should be more worry about Daigo’s Gift more than the weapon itself

A space attribute maybe but I might be wrong. But the grade of the daggers or short swords is still unknown.

Bruh, the tamer girl is useless!
You DO realize that Aoyuki is NOT proficient in combat fighting, correct?

Especially VS a simple invisible sword LMAO
