This new chapter’s main highlight is the FORTH part Tag vs. 1 handicap duel of Light and Nazuna vs. Daigo and, say to say this is where the X-Punk gets his FAFO moment for underestimating Light’s Unlimited Gacha and both of his resourcefulness and cautiousness. Sure, his 2 Gifts DID technically gave Light and Nazuna some trouble for their nerfed stats and buffed Death Elemental is no joke either for rotting some parts of the forest with dreed, but for Daigo’s arrogantly brags that he is “special” and strongest in the world just because of his 2 Gifts? Not so fast because he got punched to the ground by Light’s nerfed yet impactful fist and his FAFO moment becomes ever more apparent when the Undertaker King restores (or even exceeding) both his and Nazuna’s stats instantly with LOTS of his boost cards and Orca’s special hit single, leaving he petrified for the first time and realizes that he has just bitten more than he can chew. For Light, he certainly doesn’t seems to impressed by even the dreadful Gifts by revealing the Dummy Card that prevented him from death but then again, he also KNEW that Daigo speaks just like the villains he has confronted and beaten-starting with the same confusion about how he still lived despite their attack should be fatal to Humans, same denial to accept impossible and then claims that he will still lose, and the same shocked to see his display that proves the impossible that causes him to drop their jaw. The chapter then ends with Light speaks his one conic one-liner that finally return since Soul Dragon Arc.
Ironically speaking, for the guy who spent most of the time slaughtering some LVL300 sea monsters on the surface for how long but having no progress, along with his own history of getting his but kicked by Hei before, Daigo is not the RIGHT person who brag about being the strongest and even mocking Light, mainly because he himself doesn’t understand how LVL9999 actually works. Reminds me of a who for saying the same thing about the Undertaker King’s immunity to instant death spell? Oh yeah. Yude the Dark Elven Adventurer for his signature doom stick that ironically made him inferior. Plus, Daigo’s own crashout in this chapter reminds me more meltdowns from certain villains as well: Like Kaito’s shattered pride when his Grandius fail to even scratch him, or Soul Dragon and Shion’s own shocked over Light 99,999,999,9999 Blessing Cards to counter the souls, or especially Nano for his failed cheapshot stab when his prized Mid-Tier oversized toothpick. To put it simply, Daigo is just the latest fool who is confused to see Light unharmed yet refuses to believe the impossible until Light shows something that force him to face his FAFO moment.
But you know which one is even more threatening?
Real threat for Team Abyss in the WN’s current Arc
In the WN’s current Arc, Hei is proven to be a threat to be reckon with where Mei had to fight tooth and nail just to figuring out his Gift and abilities. To the point almost dies had it not for the time limit of Hei’s own Gift just reach his time limit.
Despite their defeat the Nazuna from their respective arcs, both Goh and Sesta are proven deadly with their sync teamwork had Aoyuki at the ropes and she forces to sue her own trump card to beat them both, with a cost to her own body.
The REAL nightmare fuel has to go for Hiro who is now reaching LVL9999 by actually kills Hisomi and then Kaizer when not even their “explosive room” can stop Nazuna .
That is devastating.
so short😭
so
shortshotafixed that for you
