If you’re including the two retainer and their factions other than Oboro and the Oni God, yes? But it will be a short lived….unless they are willing to go more than 25 seconds against LVL9999….

This new chapter now sett foot onto the Oni Island officially and….the kingdom itself isn’t sounds too flashy nor too shabby when compared to the likes of Elven Queendom or Dwarven Kingdom despite the lackluster in dungeon. Anyways, Nemumu’s complains about the Onis (including Yotsuha) aside, we get to see a brief conversation between Dark (Light) and Yotsuha where the latter now expressing her (semi) real-self to the former by talking about her envy towards Humans like him for having good friends and especially freedom she never had, along with a warning about the infamous man-eating Oni God. Well, truth to be told, the conversation only happens when Light notices the Miko Princess’s gloomy face that implies her own darker tragedy but he himself is trying to tolerate (yes, TRY) to tolerate her insensitive quips about “not experiencing despair” due to his own personal experience. Then again, this further enforce the fact that her own quips is trying to mask her own despair that is unspoken to anyone. Eventually, the carriage team proceeds to move on until they eventually arrive at the capital city and yes, this chapter ends with a cliffhanger where Dark (Light) almost snaps see Oboro who leads his fellow samurai to great the returning Miko Princess’s…”homecoming”.
Now, about Yotsuha’s switch to her quips despite her own gloomy face for seeing the her own home country? Followed by her own words about her envy for Dark (Light) for having a good friends and a freedom she never had? Along with her own very insensitive to Light about “not knowing despair”? I dunno about people but my hunch tells me that the Miko Princess herself is unwilling to talk about her own issues openly and the ironic thing about her is that her high position is somehow becoming her curse. I mean, with the one who hold the real authority are her 2 main head retainers, neither she can give up her role at anytime like Dagan nor able to plot her own scheme behind everyone near her like Lilith.
More to the story here is how Light feels about what Yotsuha said about everything whenever her banter doesn’t feel like an insult. Sure, she own envy for Dark (Light) is indeed truthful but some of her words have rubbing him the wrong way that made him unable to relate. I mean, “Skillful”? Light had trouble in leveling up back he was still LVL15. Blessed to have a good friends? Once upon a time, before the Unlimited Gacha awaken it’s power, he used to have them but Chapter 1 happened and one of them is already awaiting her return now. Then again, Light himself isn’t open to talk about his own tragedies to just about anybody either and the only who learn those was Lilith. , so he himself doesn’t have a valid argument to refute against Yotsuha about despair .
Also, Yotsuha warns “Dark” about the man-eating Oni God? She REALLY should save this concern (genuine or otherwise) to herself instead because a) the Undertaker King is no stranger in defeating monsters who are supposedly unstoppable legends in the Surface World and b) the one Oni Samurai who is greeting her “homecoming” is NOT show she think he is and had it not for his cautiousness, Light would’ve warn Yotsuha about the 5th traitors because of his own experiences. Not to mention her two own retainers are having no issue on abusing their own power behind her back? Oh, and who says Dark need ships to travel back and forth between Oni Island and the mainland when he has something special that can come and go anything he fells like it?
Speaking of restrain, there are two people need the most,
Nemumu’s temptations to teach the Oni some lessons through lacing some poison onto the Oni because there has to be some good Onis in this island nation.
Even more so for Light himself because of the obvious and the only lucky thing here is the Oni Traitor himself is VERY unlikely to give a care towards anything BUT his delusional ambition, meaning that the destined confrontation will come later.
Thanks, 🤜🤛
I think there will be a large scale battle.
Large scale battle on the way
