Yeah, it was overt enough through their interactions before, but now it’s abundantly clear: Reman is the romantic interest. That comment about spending 240 Billion Won being ‘romantic’, the “I’ve been waiting, my Siu”, the “Why is it so hard to see you?”. Like, the “my” could be in reference to being her Apostle (and outright her closest mortal follower overall), but considering all the other bits that infer affection beyond a Deity’s love for their Followers, in addition to the part at the end…
Speaking of, she’s practically saying their official relationship is essentially the Divine equivalent to what marriage is for mortals. And amusingly, his ascension as a “Sub-Deity” is essentially being raised to god-status as her Divine Consort (or at least mythologically speaking, that’s likely how it’ll be portrayed in the eventual scripture). Anyone who’s particularly familiar with certain Balder’s Gate III endings would likely understand the gist of what I’m getting at.
Also considering the above, the “I don’t know about being a Deity, but I’ll stay by your side.” would probably be better phrased “I don’t care about whether I become an Deity or not, so long as I can stay by your side.”
