-That assistant manager’s thinking makes no sense, at all. She believes him to be liked by the higher-ups, so she’s gonna fuk with him and that’s supposed to help her get the old job back? 😂 — What kinda crazy karen bs reasoning is this?
-The MC being put in not just any subsidiary, but the subsidiary ppl go to after their careers have died, a corporate graveyard, makes not a lick of sense. Placing him in a functioning subsidiary where he can grow makes sense. Placing the top dog in a graveyard that DOESN’T allow him to grow at all is completely nonsensical from a business perspective. Irl, you could even be a follower of nepotistic ideals and you still wouldn’t have put the MC in a graveyard company. It’s still a business, ffs. They still want to and need to make money off their hires (that’s just basic facts on how business works). If he wasn’t who he is (with his thick mc armor) there’d be no possible way for him to show any skills in a company that lacks in production (among other things). So, yeah, this was a bit too over-the-top, a bit too far-fetched, a bit too dramatized. The author had him find embezzlement on his very first day, which, if you think about it, is the only way for him to escape this graveyard. Talk about a forced plot😅. Whatevz. Hopefully, our mc handles this well and is moved to a better work environment after. It’ll be nice to see him doing actual projects and also advancing his name/career from putting out stellar work. That’s so much better of a plot than the cliché and out-of-place “new hire finds mass embezzlement on his first day, while all the senior employees (that have been looking at all that same data on the daily) missed any and all embezzlement signs throughout their entire careers.”
See? That’s just goofy and too dramatic 😂.
Apparently this company assigns people on the basis of job interview and education experience before the internal training which usually works but not when a company has a wild card like this. Usually, in real life if a wild card appears they get him out through internal connections but Taesong still sending mc to the grave company is just complete nonsense here I swear, just on the excuse to “show us what you can do” like bruh he already showed you what he could do. Just because you need better talent doesnt mean you have to throw him off a cliff like a shounen jump manga. I get that attatching the narrative of the underdog coming out on the top gives someone that prestige, fame, resolve and all those other qualities but this ain’t the ninja world or murim, but business, one would think they would like to invest in a person.
Just thinking about it lightly.
Mc is the top ranking rookie so he should’ve been sent to a better department. BUT since he’s been sent to the “grave” department that prob means to others that someone is trying to get rid of him instead of training or testing him. So if the assistant manager is the one to push him out completely then she would have achieved what the “higher up” wanted, this may be rewarded
-it might be unreasonable but think how long she has gotten away with many things, she would have taken it silent approval to do anything, that she’s got impunity
-i think it’s too early to tell whether putting mc in the graveyard is purely for drama. his assignment is decided purely based on his cv, before he’s proven his worth in training, and he was the only high school graduate back then. there’s no mention he can change or pick his assignment after the training too, but if he does manage to show results.. this really shows his ability

No wonder he’s put there, it’s no better stage to prove himself among problematic people
