Damn, he killed his own son. Granted, the son did ruin his business by sexually assaulting a lady but still, damn.
The dude valued his own self, career, life over his family, evident by the first thing the MC pointed out, no family photos in the house. It’s clear that the person would eliminate what’s bothering him and making him disappear then pushing them away and eventually come back to hurt him once more. There was no love, just resentment, what you said would be normal for a father who still loved their child, but in this scenario, he never did or couldn’t anymore.
