I don’t think the MC is as yet deeming either female serious partners. He’s seeing how thinks develop with the actress and currently friend zoning the golf girl. Frankly both girls have issues, the actress is a tad shallow, dishonest, egotistical and selfish but she’s not extravagant because she came from nothing and worked hard and honestly for the breaks she got and she is not just pursuing him for his looks but recognises his good character. The golfer comes across as immature, perhaps a tad more interested in his looks than character and she’s made poor decisions based on her ambitions. Also neither of the potentials, so far, appear have good female friendships which can be a warning sign.
So are they dating or not? mc is calling their outings as dates.
