Wasn’t she always mentally weak and incapable? Maybe not incapable but she was very insecure before she got stuck in the hidden dungeon for +70 years. During which she spent the majority of the time getting gnawed at for days on end until she gained enough strength to slaughter everything. Doesn’t really leave time for introspect.
