This a hard read not because it’s unrealistic, but because there’s no logic. Author definitely does not watch much mma. First there’s no elbows and knees even though they’re legitimate muay thai techniques and allowed in all mma organisations. But then the MC beats the champion who’s supposedly known for grappling despite having no experience. When a fighter has longer reach, they have less power and the only way to combat reach as a shorter fighter is to close the distance. That wasn’t mentioned at all and instead they focussed on the southpaw aspect of the fight which is important, but not the crux when they highlighted his reach so much in the last few chapters.
More Boxer feelings with this Owner(?)
