I just realized, the baby clothes and music box might’ve been the wife trying to say she was pregnant with our MC. Not sure if the dates would line up but even without spoilers we all know she somehow related to him
Perhaps yes, and I think she is his daughter and that his wife did not die but died after giving birth, which is why she remembers the lullaby.
