By chance, Jonathan enters the basement once, and afterward finds himself drawn back to it as if under a spell, pulled deeper into mysteries his uncle left behind.

**CAUTION: insects involved here especially ants. (Might be the reason for low rating)
Summary: sort of an encyclopedia+ THRILLER about ants intertwined with a genius botanist uncle who died and left his nephew his house with a letter telling him to never go down the basement but as u all know the usual troupe he wants down when their dog went missing. The uncle sort of wrote an encyclopedia but not revealed to the world so some researchers are trying to get it for themselves.
It’s an adaptation of the book “empire of the ants” from Bernard werber.
