I have a feeling it’s going to be several chapters before we get to the actual summit.
Might need to take a hiatus to get more enjoyment, I read through these way too fast.
It was a nice chapter though.
Well, one thing we really wish the mangaka stay healthy because what we’re seeing is actually the longest arc in the whole series. (The Summit Arc is not the longest, but the Demon Kingdom Arc)
I am not kidding about that because I actually read the source materials. It is THAT long. 3 part of WN and 2 books of LN I hope this scene doesn’t foreshadow something even more sinister about Clowe because knowing guys like him, he will VERY unlikely going to let it slide.
The scene where Clowe is sitting while Lilith is standing also foreshadowing their rivalry that going dark. Really dark.,

Lilith returns to Human Kingdom via teleportation and declares that she has become queen under the result of the Summit. Clowe is shocked to hear this and curses his sister for ruining his plan and even says that Human cannot win no matter what
Queen Lilith’s Coronation Ceremony Arc sees Clowe’s descent into darkness even more when he allied with the likes of Cesta/Sesta into retaking his throne from Lilith but through terrorism and even regicide before the Coronation Ceremony. The problem? Cesta/Sesta doesn’t keeps his words and he doesn’t care about Clowe’s little coup either. In the end, Clowe gets a undignified death when his inside got hidebu-ed by Cesta/Sesta’s mini explosions

Meaning, “make their words count” or “don’t break promises they can’t keep” .I mean, the prince does say that “As long he wins”, right? So, really he shouldn’t make a fuss when “Dark” (Light’s ) gets his easy victory over them.
Speaking of that, wonder if there is a magic to wipe out Northern Wind Party’s memories about what happened today so they will not going to tell somebody back at home, be it Voros and anybody else.

imma be so fr i dont like the direction of this arc already, kinda want to return to the abyss and start the next arc.
No, don’t judge the book by it’s cover because we’re haven’t even left for the Nine Principality yet. If you can’t go through the Summit Arc, you never understand the Demon Kingdom Arc is the LONGEST arc in the series.
The “Other Races’ discrimination against Mankind” thing has already been a thing in the series since The Fake Master Incident , aka the infamous betrayal that was Light’s first tragedy. That should be the LEAST of the concern. Heck, Voros and especially Diablo are living teasers about the Demons’ own jerkish attitude towards Humans already, so we can get the idea.
You should be focus more onto Clowe/Claw instead for he actually hiring the Demonic Adventure Party to yeet Light despite the demons’ obvious hatred for the humans. What if I tell people that Clowe/Claw didn’t in-bed with the demons…..but more about practicing the appeasing to the villainous demi-Human leaders. If only he knows how many were left…
