I find it very hard to like the ML’s family. Yes, they are the only guardians to the kingdom under constant threat by the Imperial family, but they also refuse to give others the luxury of compassion or sympathy. Maybe because they cannot get it themselves or give it to themselves. The way everyone used the original princess makes me sad for her.
