Fleeing, he loses consciousness—and wakes up in a brutal Song‑dynasty fighting arena, not a mere ring but an entire region where only the strong survive. There, Kwon resolves to grow stronger for the sake of revenge, vowing to become the mightiest of all and return to kill the one who took his brother’s life.

The first 10 chapters review
Short review Great manhwa overall, the art can be weird for some people.
Long answer. One thing i will appreciateb this manhwa for would be the diallouges, of course utoon has done great at it. I am specifically mentioning this because you know not all of manhwa has great dialogues. Second would the pacing, perfect as perfect as ot can get , and the story is exciting but in the future chapters it has to progress quite a lot of lot for it be interesting like. We are limited in this arena thing. So hope they expand it rather getting stuck at the place.
It’s 9/10. For 10 chapters.
Also utoon don’t let this great manhwa to limited edition.
If you read mujang, you will know it’s not going to be only the arena.
This manhwa is before “mujang” think. But the hair is different. Mujang is complete.

Is this a remake of Mujang? Or just Mujang colorized?
Its a prequel. Author seems to have wanted to revive the story a bit and is doing so through the storyline that took place before Mujang. Its the story line from when the MC was the arena slave of the merchant lady we meet in Mujang.
