Detective Genji Kuramiya, the hero of Hawk City, seemed to have cornered the man known as the Crime Lord, Tenshuu Unzen (alias Hajime Kidou). However, this was actually Tenshuu's trap. Kuramiya, along with key figures from various countries who were held hostage, was caught in the collapse of Hawk Tower. Although Kuramiya miraculously survived, Tenshuu killed his wife and daughter. His reputation as a hero plummeted, and Kuramiya was forced to take responsibility for the tower's collapse. He was sentenced to 100 years of cryogenic punishment... However, when he awoke, it wasn't 100 years later, but 50 years into the future. To defeat Tenshuu, who had already been revived from his cryogenic sentence, Kuramiya rises once again as a detective!
