Privacy notice

Updated 1 October 2026

Who handles your information

The operator of UTOON handles information submitted to this site. Use our privacy contact form for access, correction, deletion, objections or questions. The game provider, the hosting service and the sign-in provider also process information under their own notices.

UTOON saves

After you confirm age eligibility and use saving features, a random browser cookie identifies guest saves. The database stores a hash of that identifier with game identifiers, favourites, recent play times, levels, scores and notes. When email sign-in is activated, Supabase verifies a one-time email code. UTOON links saves to the verified provider user identifier and stores a hash of a random session identifier with creation and expiry times. Email addresses are processed by Supabase and its email delivery service. UTOON stores no passwords or email codes in its saves or session databases. Hosting and authentication services may retain their own records. Email sign-in may be unavailable until setup is complete.

Contact reports and security

A report stores its category, your supplied contact details, affected page, message and, for copyright reports, work identification, signature and declarations. Reports are private to the site operator and hosting account; they are not published in a public directory. We use a changing hash derived from the network address and hour to limit spam, with your reply email used instead when the network address is unavailable. We do not store the raw network address in the report table. Infrastructure providers may process IP addresses, request logs and security information.

Games, images and advertisements

Provider images and embedded games remain off until you enable provider content. Loading them sends network information such as your IP address and browser details to the provider. Embedded games may use cookies, browser storage, advertising partners or purchases, including processing outside your country. UTOON cannot read or delete their in-game storage. The optional email authentication provider publishes its privacy notice. Read GameMonetize’s privacy notice and the notices shown by the game. Opening a game directly visits the provider’s separate site.

Purposes and choices

UTOON uses its saves to provide the features you request, contact information to handle reports, and security information to protect the service. Where applicable, these purposes rely on providing the requested service or legitimate interests in support, rights handling and security. Optional provider content relies on your choice to enable it. There is no separate UTOON analytics or advertising tracker installed by this release. Provider games may have their own tracking and consent notices.

Retention, access and deletion

Saved records remain until you delete them or they are removed for operational reasons. In My library, download a backup or select Delete my UTOON saves. Account and guest libraries are separate: delete each if you used both. Deletion removes active UTOON save records and expires the guest access cookie when applicable. It does not delete an email-authentication account, provider storage, existing downloaded backups or infrastructure backups subject to their own retention.

Contact reports older than one year are removed in bounded batches when new reports are submitted; some may remain until a subsequent cleanup. Ask us to delete a report using its receipt ID. We may need to retain information to resolve a legal claim or comply with applicable obligations. Rights and regulator complaints depend on your location; verification of your request may be necessary.

Children

UTOON’s game and saving features are intended for ages 16 and above. Do not supply information or load provider games if you are younger. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information can contact us for investigation and deletion. Age confirmation is self-declared and does not independently verify age.
